搭配：
1. disagree with 不同意/動(dòng)詞詞組
2. guarantee sth. for sb. 保證某人某事/動(dòng)詞詞組
e.g. This will not guarantee success for every adult language learner. 這樣不能確保每一位學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言的成年人都成功。
3. be different from 與什么不同/形容詞詞組
4. succeed in sth./ doing sth. 成功做某事/動(dòng)詞詞組
5. offer advice to sb. 給某人建議/動(dòng)詞詞組
6. play with sth. 輕松學(xué)習(xí)某事物/動(dòng)詞詞組

句型：
1. S.+V.+it+adj.+to do sth. 形式賓語(yǔ)句型 n.
e.g. Some people find it difficult to succeed in language learning.
Some people find it difficult to succeed in other fields.
They find it easy to practice using the language regularly.
2. It is +adj.+for sb.+to do sth. 形式主語(yǔ)句型
e.g. It is more important for them to learn to think in the language than to know the meaning of every word.
It is necessary for them to learn the language in order to communicate with these people and to learn for them.
語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)：
1. success(n.)-successful(adj.)-succeed(v.) 成功
2. hundreds of people與 eight hundred people：請(qǐng)注意有數(shù)詞存在后，表量名詞的變化。
3. advice/information 為不可數(shù)名次。不能有復(fù)數(shù)形式。
4. practice doing sth. 練習(xí)做某事
5. less than +adj. 不怎么+形容詞的含義 如：less than happy 不怎么開(kāi)心
閱讀技巧：
1. conversely
2. on the other hand
這兩個(gè)詞出現(xiàn)時(shí)，下文所講內(nèi)容將與上文所提內(nèi)容截然相反。

搭配：
1. with the help of 在什么的幫助下
2. at a table 坐在桌旁(準(zhǔn)備就餐)
3. in this way 這樣
4. mean to do sth. 本意是想要做某事
5. not at all +adj. 一點(diǎn)也不+相容詞的含義
e.g. not at all thirsty 一點(diǎn)也不渴
6. as you see 可見(jiàn)
7. consist of 包括，組成
8. put sth. into sth. 把什么融入什么
句型：
1. not only …but also…不但…而且…
e.g. We can do it not only with the help of words， but also in many other ways.
我們不但可以在語(yǔ)言的幫助下，還可以用其它的方式來(lái)告訴別人我們?cè)谙胧裁础?/p>
2. neither… nor…既不…也不
e.g. People who can neither hear nor speak talk to each other with the help of their fingers.
既不能聽(tīng)也局能說(shuō)的人也可以用他們的手指來(lái)彼此交流。
3. each time 每一次(連詞：用來(lái)連接兩個(gè)句子)
e.g. He shook his head each time the waiter brought him something to drink.
每一次服務(wù)員給他拿來(lái)喝的東西他都搖頭。
語(yǔ)言點(diǎn)：
1. mean-meant; shake-shook; meet-met
2. 半系動(dòng)詞后加名詞：look sad; keep silent
3. 說(shuō)語(yǔ)言要用speak
